Background of the Study
Assignment submission is an integral part of the educational process, as it allows students to demonstrate their understanding of topics covered in class. Traditionally, assignments are submitted on paper, leading to issues such as lost assignments, delayed submissions, and the challenges of grading large volumes of paper-based work. A mobile-based assignment submission system could address these problems by providing a digital platform for students to submit their assignments and track their submission status.
This system would enable teachers to grade assignments more efficiently and provide timely feedback to students. In Dutse Local Government Area, Jigawa State, many secondary schools face logistical challenges when managing assignments, including the difficulty of tracking submission deadlines and ensuring that all assignments are submitted on time.
